McDevitt nails real issue

Thank you for the excellent March 8 Roundtable column by James McDevitt. McDevitt presented the hard facts in regard to the race conflicts that dominate the news headlines.

Race really has very little to do with it, as Eric Holder, Al Sharpton and Leonard Pitts would want us all to think. We have all long tired of the constant news bombardment on the Ferguson incident that, after many legal reviews, was a totally justified shooting.

McDevitt’s commentary puts the spotlight on the real problems, which are cultural, not racial. Thanks for providing a timely and worthy article.
