Statue unveiled on Thursday

The Spokane Valley Arts Council has donated a tall bronze statue to the City of Spokane Valley. The statue is by Colville artist Jerry McKellar and it’s taken a while to find a permanent home for it.

On Thursday, it will be installed near the Discovery Playground on the corner of Mansfield Street and Discovery Place. The ceremony begins at 4 p.m.
