Yesteryear: Old City Hall

On the Old School North Idaho blog, Heather Heber Callahan posts this 1913 postcard that shows the side view from the east of the old Coeur d’Alene City Hall @ Sherman Avenue & 5th Street. Today, of course, it houses Cricket’s restaurant and a number of other business. The postcard comes from the J. Marion Casey Sebring collection of random pieces of paper and pictures that have been sitting in boxes for 100+ years.)

Question: If memory serves me correctly, didn’t North Idaho College start on the top floor of old City Hall, in the 1930s or so? Any other memories out there?
