At Old School North Idaho Facebook page , Keva Wolfe posts this photo of the old Playland Pier Carousel, which has been purchased and returned to Coeur d’Alene. But has never found a new home anywhere on the waterfront. The 1922 Spillman carousel once whirled around at what is now Independence Point, from 1941 until the mid-1970s. I got here too late to see it.
