Red light tickets deserved

Regarding “Red light tickets unfair” (March 17): Writer Raymond Garcea states the program is unfair because it chastises his or her human imperfections due to everyone having different reaction times and perception of the situation.

So, I am to understand it’s OK to run a red light because of one’s slow reaction time, therefore possibly crashing into an automobile that does have a green light? Give me a break.

Wake up and smell the coffee. If one’s reaction time is that slow, they should not be driving and putting other people at risk. If one runs a red light, for whatever reason, they deserve the ticket that will come in the mail.
