1 Year Ago: New Freedom Tree

A year ago, we were discussing the new freedom tree at the soon-to-open, revamped McEuen Park. The old one had been removed, as being in the wrong place at the wrong time. That upset some veterans. But the hubbub was short-lived. A new freedom tree was installed, as was a new, vast Veterans Plaza that dwarfed the previous one.
