Casino Prostitution Stings Nets 9
A two-night law enforcement operation targeting prostitution at the Coeur d’Alene casino last week ended with nine arrests, the Kootenai County Sheriff’s Office said Wednesday. Casino management has seen an upswing in activities indicating prostitutes were operating within the casino and attached resort over the past few months, the Sheriff’s Office said in a news release. The Sheriff’s Office worked with Coeur d’Alene Tribal Police and the FBI because the casino is within tribal jurisdiction.
