Kootenai County Sheriff Ben Wolfinger expressed his gratitude to the community at the Republican Women’s Club luncheon today at Tito’s Restaurant re: the outpouring of support for law enforcement and mourning in wake of the slaying of CPD Sgt. Greg Moore early Tuesday morning. Too overwhelmed by emotion and recent events to prepare notes, he said he would speak from his heart. Wolfinger urged the women to continue their support of business which had contributed money to the family of the fallen office. (Photo: Duane Rasmussen)
