Press: Sorrow On Mother’s Day

Forgive us if Mother’s Day this year doesn’t cheer the heart as it normally does. We have two mothers in mind, moms who are grieving the loss of a son and of a husband. His name is Greg Moore. Moore was shot and killed Tuesday in the line of duty as a Coeur d’Alene Police officer. Sure, Greg’s mother and his wife knew that something like this could happen. He was a cop, just like his dad was, and his job was dangerous. But to be culled from the living so violently, so prematurely will leave unanswerable questions and unfillable voids in the minds and hearts of those two women for the rest of their lives.
