What a hoot those Texans are. Can you imagine a state so full of paranoid wackos that the governor orders the National Guard to monitor what the U.S. military is up to? It’s like he thinks outside forces are about to infiltrate his state under cover of God and country and take it over. (Oddly, that sounds familiar. Can’t imagine why.) Defense Secretary Ash Carter had to deny Thursday the swirling Internet speculation that Jade Helm 15 is part of a hostile takeover of Texas. The three-month training exercise begins in July and involves about 1,200 special forces from several military branches. It’s spread across seven states - Texas, Arizona, New Mexico, Utah, Mississippi, Louisiana and Florida, mainly on military bases and out in the back country/ Lee Rozen , Moscow Pullman Daily News.
