This is a paradise
Can you be in love with where we live? When I watch the nightly news, I just am blown away. These letters we write to the paper are mostly complaints. Spokane to Coeur d’Alene and the surrounding areas are, I think, the Garden of Eden.
No hurricanes, tornados, floods, earthquakes, severe drought and, most importantly, our people. Never in my 62 years have I seen any discrimination of any kind. This area has the kindest people in the world. What can I say? Have we died and gone to heaven?
Thank you, every one of you that have created this beautiful sense of complete loving maturity. Let us pray that my 10-year-old son will be feeling the same as I do now. Fifty-two years is a long time. Our children must know our history. Show them, teach them and, most importantly, tell them you love them every day. God made this amazing place. Let’s not foul his creation in any way. Kiss and hug your kids, for they will hold the key in a short time.
Cheers! Life is always better than the alternative.
