Uphold sandbox rules

Recently, we have been aware of a squabble in the media about some people taking exception to a showing of cartoons making fun of Mohammed.

Really? This is something we should have learned as babies in a sandbox. Of course, anyone would be offended to have someone important to you ridiculed. How ridiculous to claim such a move is protected under law.

Back in the sandbox days, it would have earned a shovel of sand on your head. Today, it earns wrathful indignation, and so it should. Let’s remember those sandbox days are past and that freedom some of us assume has consequences. Let us all try to get along.
