Lindy Moore’s Love Letter To Lake City Community

In a love letter to the community, Lindy Moore (shown with children Dylon and Gemma in courtesy photo from Coeur d’Alene Press), widow of fallen CPD Sgt Greg Moore, begins:

“I am blessed and humbled to live in this incredible, loving community. Greg’s unexpected death is a tragedy I never imagined. Thank you to everyone who has courageously reached out, even if you were unsure of how to approach me or what to say during this time of grief. Your presence has strengthened me. I have received countless messages and letters from the community and from around the nation. I have read them all. Every kind word, honoring Greg and his service, has made this impossible situation bearable for my family. I send out my heartfelt thanks to each person who has paid tribute to Greg and mourned alongside us. I am eternally grateful to the dedicated members of the Coeur d’Alene Police Department and Chief White, who have stood by me, protecting and serving as always.
