Old Downtown Building Renovated

The Sherman Arms building on the south side of Sherman Avenue midway between Fourth and Fifth streets has been completely renovated on the second and third stories with changes to the first (retail) floor being completed this summer. The structure was built in 1908 as the Elite (pronounced E-Lite) Hotel and later was named the Sherman Arms Motor Inn. The Lucky Monkey and Shapes Salon are on the first floor, and the Innovation Collective is in the basement. The second floor, with eight to 10 smaller offices, has had cosmetic upgrades including paint, carpet, woodwork, new bathrooms and a lobby and conference room. One office will house Raymond James Financial Services with James and Kim Chapkis. We’ll have details as they get closer to opening on June 15. Three office spaces remain/ Nils Rosdahl , Business Bits, Coeur d’Alene Press. More here.

Question: Would you like to live in or near downtown Coeur d’Alene?
