Arpie: Bonner Co Good Guys Win

Arpie (RE: Molander, Lewis win Bonner County seats ): The good guys (in Bonner County) did indeed win handily, one with 70% of the vote and the other with 76%, in a strange election. Two challengers, aligned with the Tea Party, and anti common core got thumped. The strange thing is they wouldn’t provide information to the paper or even a candidate profile to the school district for the website’s voters’ guide. This habit of the far right wing to only talk to others like them is really weird. Heather Scott and Sage Dixon do the same thing. There is a new web site called “The Voice of Idaho (TVOI),” that trumpets their causes and thinking. It was the first time I have seen yard signs for a school board election here.

Question: Is there a growing since among Tea Party candidates that they can win if they don’t provide information about themselves to the public?
