Poll: Yes, We Voted

  • Wednesday Poll: Almost two-thirds of Hucks Nation said it voted in a Kootenai County election this week. I don’t know what to make of that statistics. If you’re not fibbing, Hucks Nation is a center of committed voters who do their civic duty. After all, only 8% voted countywide on Tuesday, only 13% voted in Coeur d’Alene’s $6M public safety bond election. At Hucks Nation, 118 of 180 respondents (65.56%) said they voted. Also: 14 (7.78%) said the elections didn’t matter to them (slackers), 11 (6.11%) said the dog ate their ballot, 7 (3.89%) said they forgot, 3 (1.67%) said the weather was too nice to vote, and 27 (15%) marked “other” as their reason for not voting.
  • Today’s Poll: Are you a member of the Coeur d’Alene Kroc Center?
