Columnists wrong on TPP

If Froma Harrop and Charles Krauthammer (May 16) think the Trans-Pacific Partnership is so good, then why didn’t they explain how good they think the Investor State Dispute Settlement provision is, and how wrong the left is about that?

They know that is the part of the TPP where multinational corporations can sue our government to strip regulations that protect our environment, worker safety and food safety among other things. Our supposedly democratic government will mean nothing.

If President Obama and the corporate lackeys in Congress push through the TPP, our environment is going to be destroyed. And Harrop shouldn’t tell us about how the end times are described in the Bible. If people destroy the planet, it proves there is no god. Everything will have been for nothing.
