Heed Hadian’s warnings

R. Skyler Oberst’s May 24 letter, “Build bridges, not fear,” is the epitome of naiveté. He accuses Shahram Hadian of spreading rampant Islamophobia in the Inland Northwest.

Radical Islamists were responsible for 9/11, the Boston Marathon bombing and numerous other atrocities in the United States, not to mention many attacks in various European countries, notably in the United Kingdom and France.

Radical Islamists are utterly contemptuous of all non-Muslims and regard them as enemies worthy of death. They are within our shores and are a major threat. There will be more attempts of terrorism, and tragically, some may be successful.

I do not know Hadian, but based on the media reports of his talk, Hadian’s comments are factual and his warnings should be taken very seriously.
