Mt. Spokane updates necessary

The May 16 op-ed urging policymakers to fund Mt. Spokane facilities in Washington’s capital budget is a good idea.

In her article, the Post Falls High School teacher Cynthia Rust brought to light the significant value of one of our region’s assets, and how educators and students benefit through hands-on science and education, as well as through their school’s recreational activities.

Facilities updates and a new guest services building at Mt. Spokane are a necessary and great investment in education for students throughout the Northwest.
