Kinnear informed, experienced

Fifty years ago Congress passed the 1965 Voting Rights Act. One of the movement’s slogans was, “If you don’t vote, you don’t count.” This quote still resonates today.

Spokane voters, use your voice and lead us to a record turnout this year. If you have concerns about how our city is being run, this is the time to speak up by voting for those candidates and issues that represent your values.

I am voting for Lori Kinnear for Spokane City Council because her years of experience working on neighborhood and city issues will help her make informed decisions. Her campaign mailer spelled out what she believes our city needs: strong neighborhoods, jobs, public safety and planning for our future.

Rather than putting down her opponent, Kinnear communicated what she will focus on in office.

Do your homework. There are many resources to help. Then put that ballot in the mail and encourage others to do the same. A strong Spokane needs concerned citizens. It starts with your vote.
