Anti-oil tunnel vision

I’m always reading complaints about fracking. “It will cause earthquakes!”

I see little complaining about a four-lane tunnel being built under Seattle, even though it is being built to replace an Alaskan Way Viaduct that was damaged by an earthquake in 2008. No worries there, probably because it’s not looking for oil.
