Stand for women

The role of women today has changed drastically for my generation. We are leading households, leading in the workplace and earning a good chunk of bread for our families. Unfortunately, we are not always paid or treated equitably in the workplace or by society.

As a young working woman, I want full access to wages benefits and health care so I can build a strong foundation and provide for my children someday.

Our employment and health care systems have left women behind for far too long. It’s time to fight for fair treatment in all aspects of society. This is why I have joined a movement to Stand with Women. It’s about protecting freedom, family values, fairness and opportunity for all. It’s something I encourage everyone to consider, including elected officials in Eastern Washington.

We need to make more progress for our spouses, our sisters and our daughters. Let’s update the policies needed to ensure that everyone can thrive without unjust barriers. Join me in standing strong for women.
