Greensferry Overpass to open at 4

Droves of people walked across the new Greensferry overpass after the dedication ceremony in Post Falls today. Honor Guard members from the American Legion, Fairchild Air Force Base and Post Falls Police Department were on hand to dedicate the overpass to honor all men and women for their service to our country and our community. City of Post Falls Facebook post: ” Everyone wants to know when they can start driving on the overpass — This message from Tom Lien, Urban Renewal Agency Executive Director: ‘The Greensferry Overpass will be open today until 3:00 PM as a pedestrian ‘bridge walk’ and then the contractor, RL Wadsworth, will then decide if all construction equipment is removed to open up for traffic. The Post Falls Urban Renewal Agency anticipates that the overpass will be open by 4:00 PM today.”
