Don’t accept refugees

Recently, a Russian passenger plane was brought down by a bomb planted by ISIS. Friday, 129 people were slaughtered in France by ISIS. Saturday, President Obama vowed to stay the course and, amazingly, reiterated his plan to bring Syrian refugees to the United States.

Even more amazing, Gov. Jay Inslee became one of the few governors to confirm their state will not refuse to accept these refugees, noting that he “believes” the U.S. has a robust system to evaluate these refugees.

Seriously? What does he predicate his belief upon? Is there some vast database of refugees that will provide the answer? No, there is not. The French have a vastly superior intelligence system, thanks to the Obama administration denying intelligence agencies access to critical information; yet the French did not detect the attack. What makes our president and governor so confident that we can do better?

If we allow 10,000 refugees in, and we miss just 1 percent who are terrorists, that is 100 terrorists. It took just 12 to kill 129 people and wound over 350. Would you like to see Seattle or Spokane become the site for the next major terrorist event? This is madness.
