Chief Morris Antelope statue set up

Last week, work crews set up a statue of Chief Morris Antelope, along the Spokane River, between River Avenue and the wastewater treatment plant. Local artist Cheryl Metcalf sculpted the statue, which was selected by public acclaim in Coeur d’Alene and on the Coeur d’Alene Indian Reservation.
