ignite cda help sought for building
Three Idaho colleges have asked the ignite cda board for $2.5M to finish paying for a $9.5M project to build the North Idaho Collaborative Education Facility at the corner of Hubbard and College Drive in Coeur d’Alene. North Idaho College, University of Idaho and Lewis-Clark State College want to build a joint student location for admissions, enrollment, financial aid and for advising for students from all three institutions. $6M has been committed to the joint project from the state Permanent Building Fund and the partner institutions. Another $1M has been put in this year’s state budget. This student is included in the minutes of the ignite cda meeting: “This project will see the vision of the Higher Education Campus come to fruition.” You can read the entire discussion of this project from the ignite cda meeting (pages 2-6) here.
