Get armed; they’re coming

Wow. Over 125 people dead in Paris, killed by Islamic terrorists. I just don’t understand. All of Paris is a gun-free zone. You can’t even legally carry a lock-blade pocketknife, like the one I’ve carried for 30 years, and use daily.

Perhaps they didn’t have enough “Gun Free Zone” signs. If the terrorists had seen the signs they would have said “Stop, we can’t take guns in there. That would be illegal.” Oh wait. That’s right, among other things, terrorists don’t obey the law. Who could have known?

Someone said in the letters to the editor of The Spokesman-Review (Nov. 9), which I paraphrase, if you believe good guys with guns stop bad guys with guns, you’ve seen too many Westerns. I bet any of those people killed in Paris would have loved to have had the Lone Ranger, Roy Rogers or the Cisco Kid show up with a gun to stop the bad guys.

This is a wake-up call, America. With our open borders, it is going to come here, and soon. It is a fact of life. Good guys and girls with guns stop bad guys with guns.
