Friday’s mainstream openings: Better not cry

I reported earlier on Friday’s Magic Lantern openings. Now it’s time for the mainstream theaters, which are giving us only two choices:

“Krampus” : What looks like a holiday-themed comedy turns dark when a family gathering goes wrong and a demon gets summoned. Does the demon have sandy claws?

“The Letters” : Juliet Stevenson stars as Mother Teresa in this look at the correspondence she had over 50 years with her friend and spiritual advisor (played by Max von Sydow). What, no email?
