Seahawks win on blown call
Seattle Seahawks strong safety Kam Chancellor (31) knocks the ball loose from Detroit Lions wide receiver Calvin Johnson (81) in the second half of an NFL football game, Monday, Oct. 5, 2015, in Seattle. The fumble went out of bounds in the end zone and was ruled a touchback. The Seahawks beat the Lions 13-10. (AP Photo/Elaine Thompson)
Seattle apparently received another Monday night break from NFL officials in the same end zone where the infamous “Fail Mary” took place. With the Detroit Lions closing in on a touchdown, which could have capped an improbable comeback against the Seahawks late in the fourth quarter, the officials incorrectly gave Seattle possession after a Calvin Johnson fumble was batted out of the end zone by Seahawks linebacker K.J. Question: Does the blown referee call override the superb play made by Seattle Seahawks strong safety Kam Chancellor?
