Democrats to host council debates

The Kootenai Democratic Club will host a debate for the Coeur d Alene City Council elections for Seats 1 (incumbent Ron Edinger and challenger Toby Schindelbeck) and 5 (incumbent Steve Adams and challengers Dan English and Bruce MacNeil). The debate will begin at noon Friday at the Iron Horse on Sherman Avenue. The Democratic Club has been meeting at the Iron Horse for 41 years and hosting nonpartisan city debates for decades. Tamara Lee Poelstra will moderate this debate. She has moderated over six debates for the Club. “I am excited to be leading this discussion and look forward to the conversations.” explained Tamara. “There will be an opportunity for the audience to ask questions so it could be very interesting.”
