Malloy leads Post Falls fund-raising
Councilman Joe Malloy has the largest war chest in the Post Falls City Council races, according to the 30-day financial disclosures filed on Monday. Malloy, the incumbent for Seat 3 on the council, started his campaign with $1,206 and has raised an additional $1,745 from six donors to his campaign. He is also the biggest spender in the Post Falls races so far. He spent $756, mostly on campaign literature, and still has $2,195 in his war chest. His challenger, former Mayor Clay Larkin, has only raised $500 from a single donor, Chuck Lemphesis. Larkin spent nearly $385 on screenprinting so far, and has a balance of $115 left in his campaign fund/ Jeff Selle , Coeur d’Alene Press. More here.
