Poll: Leave Columbus Day alone
- Tuesday Poll: A plurality of Hucks Nation proved to be traditional as it voted to leave Columbus Day alone. 93 of 226 respondents (41.15%) said the annual holiday that recognizes the discovery of America by Christopher Columbus should be left as is. Another 67 of 226 (29.65%) said the holiday should be eliminated altogether. However, 60 (26.55%) would like to see the holiday reworked to honor the country’s Indigenous Peoples. 6 (2.65%) were undecided.
