Deer photo was rude

I was taught manners when I was growing up. Take, for example, if you were to invite me into your home for breakfast, I would not take photos of dead or dying animals and put them on your breakfast table. Why is it you find it acceptable to do that in my home?

This is the second time in just over a month that you have thought it necessary to put photos of dead animals on the front page (Oct. 3). What will it be next? Grisly crime scene photos? Child pornography?

I am sickened and saddened by these events. Even though I know it will be upsetting, I still read the articles. However, I really do not need to see the photos. Please have a little decorum and discontinue going for the shock value.
