Schindelbeck sells CdA home, but …

Coeur d’Alene City Council candidate Toby Schindelbeck was shocked to find out people were actually going by his house and taking pictures and sending them to The Press. “Wow,” he said Tuesday. People had noticed a real estate sign with “sold” splashed across the top in red colors posted in his yard. They were concerned he might no longer be a city resident within a matter of weeks. Schindelbeck is running against longtime City Councilman Ron Edinger. Schindelbeck confirmed Tuesday his home at 3713 N. Jimmy St. has been sold, and answered questions about how that will effect his candidacy. He said he wouldn’t be running for city council if he was planning on moving out of the city. That would be a waste of his time and money, he said. “I am moving to a different house in the same precinct,” Schindelbeck said/ David Cole , Coeur d’Alene Press. More here.

Question: Are you as surprised as candidate Schindelbeck that people are interested in the sale of his house?
