Fagan works hard for people

I have lived in District 1 for over 20 years, and for the past 10 years have been very active as a neighborhood leader. Mike Fagan has done more for his district than any Spokane City Council member I can recall. Fagan goes out of his way to be there for his district and for the other districts as well. I know for a fact folks in other districts that cannot get a response from their own council representative often turn to Fagan.

Yes, Fagan is steadfast in his beliefs and those issues he feels strongly about, but I find that the primary reason to vote for him. Unlike others on the council, he is not disrespectful to those who disagree with his position or take a different point of view, I know this because I have done it often and it does not affect our working relationship.

Unlike others on the council, he does not throw temper tantrums or belittle or ignore folks if they differ. Working with Fagan has been one of the better parts of my involvement in neighborhood activism. Our current council president may not support Fagan, but District 1 does.
