Ahern would be a level-headed president

After really getting to know John Ahern, I realize how much the Spokane City Council needs a president who is level-headed and even-tempered.

I was at a city council meeting where I observed Ben Stuckart really lose his temper; raising his voice and, most disturbingly, not respecting citizens giving comments that don’t align with his views. So I watched previous meetings and noticed it wasn’t a one-time thing; he really is that unprofessional.

Ahern really is a good listener, and his concern for Spokane citizens is sincere. John wants to give Spokane businesses the opportunity to thrive, so they can hire more employees at a better wage without forcing them into paid sick leave and mandatory $15 minimum wage that would drive business away from Spokane and reduce jobs.

As of now, the city council is not as non-partisan as they say they are. John Ahern would help change that to ensure citizens have a voice. His experience in the political process and business makes him a well-rounded candidate that will improve Spokane in areas greatly needed, like road improvements and improving public safety.
