Isolation has consequences

The consequences of the Obama administration’s foreign policy will continue to change the world, and not in a positive way. Even though much of the public focus is on Central Asia and the Middle East, the most significant and long-lasting changes will occur in Europe.

As the U.S. continues to withdraw from the world stage, the great states of Europe will be required to spend more on their own national security. This, coupled with the cost of legal and illegal immigration, will put extreme pressure on the available funds that post- World War II European socialist societies demand. The resulting economic instability will again ensure the rise of populist fascism.

Ethnic minorities that stupidly reject cultural assimilation in host countries will be targeted anew. The cost of our recent wars will pale when compared to the future cost of current failed U.S. policies. Anyone who thinks the world is smarter now than it was in the 1900s is delusional. Smart phones do not make us smarter. World war anyone?
