Dismembering is barbaric
I suppose I should not be surprised. This kind of thing has been written in history since history has been written. We all watch and smile and say, “Ahh. Aren’t those folks wonderful?” when we see rescues of ducklings from storm drains, or a baby elephant pulled from a mud bog, or a horse saved from a fire. We consider those high examples of our humanity.
So, what is different about a human? Haven’t we learned from history and the horrific, brutal acts heaped on our fellow men and women in the past? How can we condone or even just disregard the dismembering and sale of a human being? And there is no other definition. A monkey fetus is still a monkey; an elephant fetus, an elephant; a human fetus is still, wait, maybe not – at least in the eyes of too many.
This is “human trafficking” at its worst. At the very least, an aborted baby should get the dignity of burial and not cut up and sold like parts from a junked Chevy. That’s not science. That’s barbaric.
