Adams files for re-election

Councilman Steve Adams, who is known for opposing all purchases or contracts that have ties to federal money, has filed candidacy papers for re-election today. Adams, of 5292 N. Parkwood Circle, turned in his filing papers with signatures of six people including that of Toby Schindelbeck, who announced that he is running for Seat No. 1, currently held by long-time Councilman Ron Edinger. Two others have filed for Adams’ Seat No. 5: former county clerk Dan English and Bruce MacNeil. In the race for Seat No. 3, Councilman Dan Gookin is currently running unopposed.
