Hedden seeks Gookin seat

At the last minute, Barbara Hedden, 6630 N. Spurwing Loop, filed for the Coeur d’Alene City Council seat now held by Councilman Dan Gookin. Hedden paid the $40 filing fee in submitting her filing papers. That means all three council races will be contested this fall. In the Seat 1 race, Toby Schindelbeck filed today to run against incumbent Ron Edinger. In the council Seat 5 race, incumbent Steve Adams filed today to set up a three-way race against former county clerk Dan English and Bruce MacNeil.
