Immigrants build America

Because presidential candidate Donald Trump does not appear to be Native American, I did some research into his family ancestry. Trump’s mother was an immigrant from Scotland. His grandparents were both immigrants from Germany.

Many immigrants do jobs no one else wants to do. Perhaps Trump would like to try cleaning toilets for minimum wage or tending produce in the hot sun all day.

One way he could help keep immigrants out of the United States is by donating some of his billions to our public school system to start teaching science earlier than fifth grade. It’s likely the wings and seats of his private aircraft were designed by foreign-born engineers. Ask any engineer and they’ll tell you 50 percent of their co-workers are immigrants because we do not have enough young people going into those fields in our country.

Our country was founded by wise people who wanted to liberate ordinary people from the feudal system in Europe. We are a country of Heinz 57 mutts. Look at what all those immigrants have built, including Trump’s grandfather, himself an immigrant entrepreneur.
