Photo captured horror

The searing image of the result of the Stickpin fire on the Aug. 30 front page brought home to us city dwellers the absolute horror these country folks have endured this summer. We may complain about the inconvenience of all the smoke around here, but that fire aftermath picture will be emblazoned on my mind forever.
