Honda designs car for cyclists

Honda will unveil a concept car at next week’s Frankfurt Motor Show that’s aimed at people who ride bikes.

As strange as that may sound - a car for bikes?!? - it’s actually a pretty cool vehicle. It’s called the Civic Tourer Active Life .

Two bikes can fit inside the car when the back seats are folded down and thanks to innovative placement of the fuel tank, as AutoBlog mentions .

A retractable arm extends from the car’s trunk for working on a bike, and there’s also an air pump in the car, both of which are quite handy and cool.

The roof box is designed for other bike accessories.

While I’m not a big fan of how the car looks, I am a Honda admirer (I own a Fit), a cyclist and someone who likes when automakers try new things. If this car becomes a reallity, expect to see it at your local Cyclo-cross events, road races and other awesome bike happenings.
