Womb no longer safe

Regarding Pete Scobby’s Aug. 31 letter to the editor: Yes, abortion is a medical procedure, a procedure that kills unborn babies; 55 million since abortion became legal. I grew up believing that a medical procedure usually improved a person’s quality of life, sometimes even saved it. Not today in the world of abortion. Innocent babies are murdered in or out of the womb, and their body parts sold.

He goes on to excoriate Mary Moe’s (Aug. 12) use of the Bible. He suggests she address other topics, one being greed. Wow, what about the greed of the multimillion-dollar abortion industry? That’s greed. The Bible does talk about how we have been formed in our mother’s womb, and we are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139). The womb used to be a safe place for the unborn. Not in today’s abortion world. Nothing is politically correct that is morally wrong.
