What would you ask a candidate?

On the Spokesman-Review Facebook page, colleague Pia Hallenberg wonders what she should ask candidates for various offices in the Spokane Valley area:

“Would you want to know why the incumbent decided to run again? When the newcomer saw the light and filed for office? Is the candidate’s educational background important to you? Religious views? Taste in music? What would you like to know about the people you will be voting for?”
