Poll: Gookin beats ‘None of the Above’

• Tuesday Poll: Councilman Dan Gookin’s biggest challenger in the fall election may be “None of the Above.” That option, of course, won’t be on the ballot. But Tuesday’s poll indicates that there may be a few undervotes in Gookin’s race against challenger Barbara Hedden. Gookin did win a plurality of the Hucks Nation vote — 78 of 178 respondents (43.82%) said they want to see Gookin re-elected in November. Only 28 of 178 respondents (15.73%) said they preferred challenger Hedden. However, 59 (33.15%) of the HucksOnline voters opted for “None of the Above.” And 13 (7.3%) marked themselves down as undecided.
