The assault continues

My compliments to Nancy Larson (“Womb no longer safe” – Sept. 11) for her to-the-point summary of what used to (and still should) be with all unborn life. Unfortunately, the assault on the womb continues and the hidden manipulation of harvested body parts reveals the attitude of complete disregard for the humanity of the aborted child. How any humane society allows this to go on is unfathomable.

Homer Todd’s understanding is questionable, especially his reference to choice (“Stands with Planned Parenthood” – Sept. 11). This has been a truly abused term, particularly when you ask the obvious question: “What choice does the fetus have?”

One could well argue that any choice exerted by the person requesting the abortion has already taken place. Despite the continual rant of rape and incest, the huge majority of pregnancies are still the result of voluntary participation. So much for choice.

I would hope that no street war breaks out over this, but such is the result of a society that has denigrated itself and makes no move to protest the violence taking place within and corral the excesses of an organization purporting to support “woman’s health.”
