Clinton support plummets to 44%
Hillary Clinton’s lead over Sen. Bernie Sanders has narrowed in a new Fox News poll released on Wednesday that shows the number of voters who want her to win the Democratic nomination falling from 61 percent in mid-June to 44 percent now. Despite the fall-off, Clinton is still the top choice in the Democratic field. Sanders (I-Vt.) places second with 30 percent support, up from 15 percent in June, and Vice President Biden, who has yet to announce his candidacy, receives 18 percent support. The poll suggests the controversy surrounding Clinton’s use of a private email server as secretary of State is hurting her. It found that a majority of voters believe she is being dishonest about the issue/ The Hill. More here.
Question: Will Bernie become a speed bump if Joe gets into the race?
