Grading system familiar

It was with some interest that I read the article in The Spokesman-Review on Sept. 18 about the new grading system being implemented within the Spokane school district. I wonder who introduced the idea and who some of the strongest supporters were.

I retired from teaching in 1996, and the system that is now being used is exactly the system that I used during my 30 years in the classroom. Good for you, Spokane.
