Grading system isn’t new

The new grading system for Spokane schools isn’t new. When I went to school, 90-92 percent was always an A-, 80-82 percent was always a B- and so on. Do you mean the students have been skating by with 90 percent for As?

Now they’re whining because the school system is correcting that mistake? Students have it so easy; teachers, also. There were at least 30 students to a classroom and no teacher’s aides. The classroom was disciplined and we were taught subjects with substance, not frivolous waste-of-time gimmick courses to pump up unearned grades.
